Engraved round-back blade with strong counter-edge, shortened. - Sardinian officer's saber. Blackened wooden handle. Iron mounting, single-branch guard, two baguette-shaped mounts. Flat-backed blade, hollow sides engraved with rinceaux in thirds, with gutters and strong counter-edge at the tip. SF. Mid-nineteenth century.
